Failure to delivery credit card to correct branch

My credit card was used in November and needed to be replaced. I specifically requested that the consultant send the replacement card to Lansdowne branch. I contacted the call centre after 3 weeks to confirm that i can collect the card and alas it has gone to Long Beach Mall which is over 50kms away! I requested then that its moved the correct branch. On 3 January, I went to branch and it was still in Long Beach! The consultant herself phoned the call centre to request that the card is transferred. She confirmed that it would take 5 business days. I just called the call centre... and it is not at my branch! The consultant confirmed that she can see the instruction submitted on 3 January, however, the courier has not transferred it as yet, i quote - "I am unable to advise why they have not followed the instruction sooner". Good enough?? NO!

Standard Bank has greatly disappointment me in their inability to follow a simple instruction. Seriously considering ending my banking relationship with them.

If they could not follow this simple instruction (to transfer a card from one branch to another), how can they be trusted to manage my financial affairs? They cant.
