Card delivered to the wrong branch. Again!

On the 2nd of November I used a Standard Bank ATM, the ATM malfunctioned and swallowed my card. I called the card division immediately to cancel my card, and was told I would get a call in 3 to 5 working days telling me to pick up my new card. I get a call on the 9th (a week later), to pick up my card, only to discover that they have sent it to the wrong branch (not the 1 I specified). When I asked why, I was given the usual story that its not the fault of the person calling me, its the card division. When I asked when my card would be sent to the correct branch so I could pick it up, no specifics could be given.

Online banking is linked to the card number, so it was cancelled when the card was cancelled. It is now over a week that I have not had access to my money at all!

Similarly, when my credit card was up for renewal in May, it was sent to the wrong branch. When I asked if they could get it sent to the correct place, I was told no. After finally going to the branch it had been sent to, and waiting in the que for an hour, I was told it had been sent back to head office cos I took too long to pick it up. It is now November, I still don't have my credit card.
