Virgin Insurance
Confirmed cancellation followed by debit orde

Business & Finance

On the 18 Feb I requested that my policy be cancelled. I received an E-mail stating that my request will be escalated. Shortly thereafter I received an E-mail stating that my debit order failed. I again contacted Virgin Insurance.

Eight days ago I received an E-mail from Valencia confirming my cancellation. Then two days ago yet another E-mail informing me that my debit order has failed. Is there absolutely NO COMMUNICATION between the various departments within the company? Or are you trying to score an extra month's policy amount al the while reasoning that most people won't make a fuss?

What makes this even worse is that when I reply to the E-mail from Valencia I receive a "Delayed" or "Technical Error" message saying my E-mail was undelivered. YES I prefer E-mailing as I don't have the resources to spend hours on my cell on hold, being transferred until kingdom comes. This is ridiculous. Seriously. The reason I wanted to cancel in the first place was because Virgin did not honour my request to only be debited on a certain date. Then only to be informed that I am not covered, as they had not received the paperwork from Glasfit. MONTHS AFTER I had been paying for naught.
