December last year we lost our Father, he left a policy with his children as the beneficiaries. since then it has been delay after delay when it comes to paying out the policy. Finally after more than 3 months the policy gets approved and they say that they will make the payment. That was on the 21-03-13 a week later (28-03-13) Old Mutual Namibia pays my brothers portion over to him as he is in Namibia. I called them up and they said to me that since we are in South Africa they would first need to transfer the money to SA Old mutual which would take 3 working days. 4 days later still no payment was made so we called again and they said AGAIN that they would pay the money over which they did 03 April now we call Old mutual SA and nobody can give us a clear indication why there was such a delay, they say all the managers are to busy to speak to us and each time someone tells us a different lie! they cant promise the money will be paid over today or even next week, nor can they give an indication of why... i think that they are simply investing the money and delaying payment in order to rack up interest therefore exploiting their clients in their time of loss!! I WANT ANSWERS!!!
