Old Mutual
Sick and Tired of getting the runaround!

Policy Number: 13115458.
My husband has a policy with old mutual that we needed to be paid out to us. Al the documentation was submitted on the 4th of December and we were told that payout would be in 2 days. On the 9th we phoned again and was told that payment takes between 2 and 5 working days, so we waited again, since Wednesday the 11th up and till today, every time we phone the call centre, they tell us that the payment will be made today, then nothing happens, phone again the next day, payment will be made today, and surprise surprise, no payment!! Now all of sudden we where told that the payments are 2 weeks behind, because of the fact that there where only skeleton staff on duty, Is that our problem??? I think not. We are still waiting for the policy to be paid out, and needed the money for a family emergency, which is now becoming a crisis, but does old mutual care? NO THEY DONT!!! I have begged and pleaded with them, but to no avail. I am so sick of them, and have never experienced such pathetic customer service in my whole life!!!
