Claim rejected

I just had my claim for about R5029.00 rejected after my 16 year old son knocked my car into a pole in a parking area when he turned my car around without my knowledge. When I was quoted for insurance I was specifically asked by the consultant to add him as a driver as he was 15 years old and might take my car for a drive. I agreed. Now that it happened and I need to claim, they tell me that he is part of my household and the claim is not valid? only if I caused the damages they would have paid. my husband is alos registered as a driver but they now confirmed that only I am covered, which is contradictory to my contract. Why did they not tell me all these when I registered the claim? but they needed to send my car for an assessment so that they can determine if they need to pay. No wonder their premiums are so cheap, because they never intended to pay any claims, because they cant afford it on such low premiums. I would rather safe my money on my own, than them it every month.
