I bought my car in April 2012 with the Warranty Sollution/guard policy included I was told that covers wear and tear breakage and mechanical failure.
I have separate service plan. Due to my hip operation and not being able to drive the car myself, the 165 000km service was done late - but the service plan covered the service. Service was only done on 170 000 km. Given it was over the suggested km. Last week Wednesday, I heard an unfamiliar sound and contacted Nissan Queenstown. Took the car in on Thursday and was told to not worry as the sound goes away when you drive, but bring it back on Monday. I am not mechanically orientated but to me it sounded like clutch or gearbox. I told the garage that. First I get a call to tell me Warranty Solutions wants me to authorise the work, as they will send assessor to see if its not wear &tear as its not covered. Now they tell me due to the late service this wont be paid for. Yet, Mark tells me if the next service is done on time the policy carry's on as usual. Please explain why the rest will be covered but not this claim, not that they even know what is wrong yet. This is pathetic
