My car had an engine failure in December 2012 and was subsequently sent to an RMI approved mechanic to the situation and get in contact with my current warranty provider.
I purchased this car about 4 month ago along with the addition of an extended warranty cover (specifically for engines) should something happen to the car while under my care.
As stated previously the car did break and has been assessed by my mechanic as well as the Warranty Solutions assessor. My mechanic came to the conclusion that some of the components had been weakened due to wear and tear and the engine abruptly broke. My car is in line with the compulsory dealer service requirements so it was not on any part of negligence that the car had broken.
Let it be noted the full (gold) cover was taken out as well as a wear and tear waiver to cover all the angles.
Now I have not heard from them as yet but they have been communicating with my mechanic and he has informed me they have taken it to a personal level insulting me by saying that my mechanic should just drop me as I am only trouble yet they know me as a name on a paper. Which I find highly disgusting and extremely childish.
