Standard Bank
Debit order limit was not processed as requested

Business & Finance

On the 4th February 2013 I requested to increase my debit order limit from R120000 to R150000 . On the 6th of February I received a mail from the Bank to confirm that my request had be completed and that my limit now was R150000.In February I ran my debit orders which came to a total of R145000 WITH NO PROBLEMS.
On the 27th March I tried to run my March Debit orders for the amount of R148000 which gave me a message that it exceeds my limit. After numerous calls to the Bank the tell me that they made a mistake and increased something else and not my debit orders. I was told that they would sort it out on the 28th March and it is now the 2nd April and still nothing. My customers are expecting the debit orders to go off on the latest the 4th of April. What is going to happen it that by the time the debit orders do go through the clients will have no funds available. I have send mails, telephone calls but nothing seems to be done.
