Debit orders taken out before the contract date

I joined at end of March 2012. my debit orders went throught all year with no problems. i paid my money 1 day before the due date all year. my contract expired end of march (i did not cancel). i then got a call end of March 2013 from accounts dept. Rukaya Williams stating i have insuffient funds in account. i approached the bank to query why? 1) My contract states DOs go off the 1st of the month.
2) Rukaya took the funds 1- 2 days before the first (April-May 2013). 3) She claims its because of the holidays. 4) the bank charged R120 for the DOs returned 5) This left a bad payment record on my name 6) According the bank and the NCA my contract states the 1st of month for payments.

i would request an apology in writing regarding the returned Debit Orders and to clear my record.
Refund the amount the bank charged for returned debit orders.
