Insurance Claim, payment overdue, not yet paid

I have an insurance claim, for damages to goods shipped in a part container from South Africa to U.S.A..
The brokerage acknowledged that they would pay on an agreed amount. I was told there was a backlog but payment would come. That was Feb. 15th. To date no payment has been forthcoming. No updates nothing.
