Response to a complaint - service made our day

On the 6 March I lodged a complaint about what a mission it was to open a FNB cheque account. This morning I got a response and all I can say is WOW!

A FNB agent named Ratanang called me and after a brief chat about the complaint, called my mother (who actually wanted to open an account). It took barely 10 minutes and the account was opened and card ordered. Took a few minutes longer and the iPad Mini is on its way. She even called me back to make sure I was up to speed with the progress, something that I have rarely experienced.

I am absolutely stunned by the fact that by noon it was all sorted. What started off as a very blue Monday has been made much brighter by Ratanangs' fantastic attitude and efficiency. I will be spending most of this week moving all her other accounts over to FNB.

I have dealt with the "blue bank", "red bank" and "dark green bank", and the level of service experienced doesn't come close to this.
