This is the first serious complaint I have about Standard Bank, after 2 months of struggling to get my bussiness account address changed, and trying to get my bank card to work, after jumping through all the hoops that was requested of me, being to the bank 3 times, spending the first time I was at the bank 1h 40 min to get my address on my private accounts changed by a trainnee, which then could not help me with my bussiness account, and the consultants was too busy to help, calling the call centre for the 4 times and the fifth and last time today, holding for 10 minutes for the consultant to check my details then 20 minutes and then somehow ending up in the wrong department. Waiting for a response that is 3 weeks overdue, and using a reference number supplied by the call centre that cannot be traced after being told that bussiness banking will phone me back, I have had it, in all my years my father, my mother and I have been with Standard Bank, never and never have I experienced such, I always proudly reffered to banking with Standard Bank, because although more expensive then other banks I did not have any of the problems that my other people experience with their banks.
