A consultant, Marla Arendse, advised in 2010 that I'm paying too much in banking fees and advised I go to my branch. I tried to log a call (ref 1194035) but again was told that I had to go to a branch. Because of my hectic office hours I only made it there early in 2012. A consultant there agreed to see me, but then said he couldn't change my rates without proof of address. This was frustrating as I had not been advised to bring along proof of residence (even when when I got feedback on the call I logged) but luckily I had a Rage account in my purse. The consultant refused to help me as there wasn't a NCRCP number on the account, despite me explaining how difficult it would be for me to return to the branch due to my work hours and offering to fax or have another account dropped off at the branch. Now, almost a year later, I still haven't gotten to the branch and my banking fees are higher than ever. This is ridiculous. I'm paying unnecessary fees, I went to the branch to fix it, I could actually prove my address and identity, but was refused assistance. Please prove to me that you value my business by helping out and at the very least, refunding me for unnecessary paid fees.
