SMART INSURANCE WIGGLING OUT OF PAYING

When I purchased my car at BMW Northcliff, I was advised to take up the SMart policy for minor scratches. It was an excellent sales pitch. (I wonder what rewards do these people on the floor at the dealers get?) However, I have now claimed and this was rejected due to the claim being over the threshold limit. Needless to say that this maximum limit was not mentioned to me when I signed up. It exceeds by a few hundred rands which I requested to pay if they could honor the limit. This was declined!
