I HAve been an ABSA client for years i have never been with another bank as i have never needed to worry about changing service providers. I put a claim in through my home insurance which is administered through ABSA bank claim number 2336618 for my gate motors which stopped working after a storm in our area. ABSA sent an assessor and they refused to honour my claim due to the fact that they cant see any proof lightning damage or storm damage caused it to stop working, despite my security service provider telling me it was due to either lightning or water from the storm. ABSA have assessors who do not act in favour of their clients but rather find reasons not to pay the claims. I will now be moving my bond, insurance all my bank accounts as well as my wifes accounts and investments to another bank as i am not going to allow ABSA to leave me high and dry. Never again!!!
