Make Things Happen??? Only if it suits this bank!

I support my parents and grandparents in durban and have been going through some trying times in Jhb. My granny has an investment - Senior Savings Bond with an amount of R120000.
I approached her for financial help as its difficult here and i required R40 000 in order to be able to still support them as i have some outstanding personal accounts to sort out as I may be evicted as well as open a very small business to help me support my family and still live.

My granny agreed to help me witht he funds but this was declined by the bank due to the fact that the funds can only be accessed in the event of her death or medical reasons - which my granny was not aware off... was it told to her clearly not,

my granny is 80 years of age... she wants to help me as this is her funds... but the bank is behaving in a manner which clearly states that they will make things happen only if it benefits them... Absolutely dissappointed in the lack of compassion!
