Nedbank had advertised quite extensibly to support small business. a number of months ago our business had then approached Nedbank for assistance. Having been a client of the bank for well over 20 years we would have at least expected a response, but nothing, our request for assistance was not even acknowledged, and as of todays date we have still not had the courtesy of a reply. A few days ago whilst in Nedbank Balfour park branch we noticed a sign which stated that if you have not had a smile or eye contact with anyone in the bank you should send an sms to a specified number and an area manager would contact you. I then sent an sms and a day later receceived an sms by reply which stated "Hello and thank you for your sms. We want to make things happen for you. Chat soon". It is now Thursday night and Nedbank have certainly not made it happen for me and as is the norm have not bothered to contact me.
