When are my details going to be updated

Early in 2012 i made changes to my policy but i am only seeing some of the changes.
I am struggling to get hold of a finacial adviser as the guy that was working with my policy is not in the country anymore. The one adviser that i spoke to said he would get back to me but i am still waiting. How long do i have to wait? I signed all the relevant document and the deductions to my account have increased but i am not seeing the changes on my policy. Please can you get somebody to contact me as this is a very sensitive matter and it has been going on for too long.
