Canceling of policy without policyholder notice

Good day,

Assistance is needed regarding the above policy 7780000153.

My mother took out this policy on 2004/03/01, upon which she signed a stop order for her monthly installment to be deducted from her bank account. Recently, she noticed that the money was not being deducted from her account.

Econo Group Schemes was contacted via telephone number 0123613280 and informed us that they no longer attend to these policies and that all policies starting with 778 numbers are discontinued.

Can you please provide feedback in this regard and reinstate the policy and stop order? The discontinuation of this policy was never brought to my mother's or my attention, as I am dealing with all her policies.
