CANCELLING LIFE POLICY - NOT SO EASY

Cancelling a policy

To cancel the policy we need a written and signed notice directing us to cancel it.

Please scan and email this cancellation notice to us, or fax it back on 011 539 3280/1. Please make sure to include the reference number above on your notice.

A notice period of 30 calendar days applies on all policy cancellations and we cancel the policy within 30 calendar days after the date we receive the cancellation notice.

If we do not receive the cancellation notice within seven days of logging the enquiry, we will close the enquiry. Once we receive the necessary documents, we will log a new enquiry and a 30-day notice period will apply from the date we receive the cancellation notice.

THIS POLICY WAS CANCELLED 3 MONTHS AGO VIA THE BROKER. NOW DISCOVERY SEND THIS EMAIL TRYING TO EXTORT MONEY, BY SAYING WE HAVE NOT FOLLOWED THE PROCESS. THEY ADMIT RECEIVING CALCELLATION NOTIFICATION ONLY ON 19/09/2013. THEY HAVE FAILED IN THEIR DUTY TO SEND US CORRESPONDENCE AT THAT TIME, AND NOW TRYING TO SHIF THE BLAME ON US. THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IN MY LIFETIME
