Autohub Edenvale
Unfair dismissal

I worked at a company named Autohub in Edenvale for 9 months, from February 2024, and was unfairly dismissed. The company only pays the employees on a weekly basis in cash. We do not receive any salary advice or any paper trail regarding our salary.

The owner of the business "heard" that I was complaining about the way they were conducting business, but in fact, it was not me telling everybody about the unfair way they treated everyone at work; it was my husband. I tried to explain to the director that it was not me, but he just told me he couldn't trust me anymore and fired me.

Furthermore, we did not receive any salary advice and were not registered for tax purposes. He just called me in and told me I was fired.
