ROBBED by virgin insurance who refuses to telecoms

I have been robbed by Virgin Insurance. We had comprehensive motor insurance with them. When we sold the vehicle, we maintained the household insurance which we were assured covered portable possessions including cellphone cover.

When we claimed after /loss of a phone, we were informed that the cellphone was not covered as we did not specify the phone. When taking the cover out, we specifically requested cellphone cover and were assured by the agent that phones shall be covered.

When we requested transcripts of the recordings, we were sent an addendum which in fact confirmed cover for portable possessions which were "unspecified". We were then told that we should have read the fine print which was apparently and conveniently posted to us! We never received anything in the post, all other doc's (including the addendum they sent was emailed.

We requested recordings of the calls and proof of postage over a month ago, to date, still no response... next stop, a PAIA High Court application compelling them to provide the info then off to issue summons... i will retrieve legal costs herein as well!!!
