Hello There, On Oct 19, 2013 we had some bad hail damage on our home. We reported the incident shortly after that and received a claim no (2467528) almost immediately. The next week Absa sent out contractors to give them quotes for the damages. Then after phoning Absa several times they told us that an independent assessor was appointed to further the damages. He submitted his report but to no avail. Ever since we phone Absa every week, hold on for more than an hour on your cell phone just to be cut off. I lodged three complaints already but during my last attempt I was told that there was nothing on the system. If you phone the message centre they tell you someone will call you back within 48hrs... what a joke. This service is very poor. What is the use in advertising to recruit new customers if they can't care for the existing ones. Absa don't value their customers at all. Someone please help.
