I have been a client of ABSA since 24 September 2013 and since that time I have not had 1 moth without a billing problem or some other sort of problem from ABSA.
As I mentioned I have been with ABSA from September 2013 and in that time I never once received a bank statement so I went to see my Branch on 9 January 2014 to find out why. I spoke to a nice guy named Tswane, he advised me he did not know why I did not receive my statements as I am registered to receive my statements via Email and I receive my cost statement, he then registered me from receiving emailed statements and then registered me again immediately and I actual received my first statement from ABSA on 24 January via email.
Today I checked my bank statement, as I normally do after ABSA put through the bank charges, anyway I found a R14 admin charge on my account. I phoned the call centre and spoke to Morris who advised me that apparently I received a bank statement at the branch which I never did. I expect the charge to be reversed or for ABSA to provide me the the document I signed when I received the Statement.
I am also still waiting for complaint F21EEB3E-E2F4-156E-A7A4-DB9D0A230000 to be finalised
