No statements and unexplained charges

My wife moved her accounts over to ABSA after we got married 3 months ago. I wish I moved over to her bank instead.
PROBLEM 1. she does not receive statements on her cheque account (although she receives the monthly cost statement via email). She also has no archived statements that can be downloaded online.
PROBLEM 2. she has 4 savings accounts that show a monthly "notification fee" of R 0.50 even though she has never received a statement of notification on those accounts.
I went to the branch last week and the week before and all they tell me is that everything looks fine (but her account isn't registered for statements at ABSA online). I called the Platimum line but they couldn't assist me because my wife wasn't registered for telephone banking. I registered her the last time I visited the branch. I spoke to internet banking, they referred me to general enquirers, who in turn referred me back to internet banking.
My calls lead in circles and no one at the branch can assist me. I found out that a friend also has the issue with statements and he has been struggling for months without any success. What is left for me to do? If this doesn't get resolved, we're moving to FNB.
