POOR SERVICE/ BAD ATTITUDE

In an effort to keep this as short as possible I have summarised my complaint to lodge it via this means. I joined Outsurance in June 2013, I have been struggling ever since from pathetic service and misinformation to nonchalant attitudes. The basis of my complaint refers to my communication with the call centre a few weeks ago. I spoke to Tumi and advised on my intention to lodge a claim due to having expensive items missing. I explained that the culprit was an ex-domestic worker employed by myself in December 2013. To my absolute frustration, he advised that the will only entertain a claim on visible signs of a break in. I am yet to date to receive a comprehensive policy document and on review of the shortened document received, I found no clause suggesting a claim will only be entertained on the terms noted above. The agent was adamant that I was advised and maybe I couldn't remember due to the lack of my listening skills. Infuriated by Tumi's allegation, I insisted on terminating my policy. I then spoke to Gerhard. To end the call, I was assured that a claim's agent will contact me. I am yet to receive such a call almost 2 months later! I am deeply disheartened.
