Overdraft decreased without notification

Our overdraft was decreased without notification once we enter into debit review. FNB took the last money we had in our account for food and petrol once we enter into debit review without letting us know. I phoned our personal banker to ask if she can help as that was the last money and I notified her that I have a two year old son that I needs to eat and she simply said there is nothing she can do. What happened to "How can we help you"
