Erroneous deduction

This is my 3rd complaint about Investec in 4 months, and I'm not even a client of theirs!

This time they deducted a substantial sum from my account. As I said, I'm not a client, but because they had previously made a deposit to my account they had my details on record, and had incorrectly loaded those details to one of their client's accounts, and subsequently made the deduction.

Firstly, the D/O reference wasn't very useful, and didn't give any clues as to the nature of the deduction. Then, when I phoned to query it, it was Saturday, and they were unable to help. I had to wait until Monday (despite it being clear it was an incorrect deduction since I wasn't a client). Once I spoke to the right person on Monday, they paid the money back quite quickly, but without any compensation for interest, the inconvenience, or the distress they caused me (like I said it was a substantial sum).

In fact, I only received the faintest of apologies for this error.

Furthermore, their response to my previous complaint is factually incorrect, and I take exception to this misrepresentation.
