Udget rejects and refutes car flood victim!!!

On the 10 dec 2012 i was the unfortunate victim of a heavy flash flood in durban. my mini cooper switched off immediately in rising waters. a passerby stopped to assist and managed to tow my vehicle home. not knowing the extent of the damage and under the impression it would need a few days to dry, i left the vehicle to dry out in the sun in the hopes that it would start again once the water had dried up. to my dismay the vehicle did dry but refused to start. so i put in a claim with my insurance who informed they would need to the damage and then they had the car towed away. three weeks later i still had no word from budget and i had to chase them down for answers. when i finally did track them down i was told that THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY EVIDENCE THAT MY CAR WAS IN A FLOOD!!! i have photographic evidence as well as witnesses who were present at the time. it seems like budget has no qualms about taking my monthly premiums but had no issues leaving me in the lurch. i am disgusted an horrified and currently seeking legal advice. i really wish i had insured with a better company. budget did not even bother to repair the damage or get me moblie.i feel robbed and taken for a rid
