3 appointments inside branch, still NO account

We are trying to open a secondary account at Standard Bank, Stellenbosch. We went to the Bird Str branch, but nobody could assist us. So we made an appointment for the next day at 9 am. When we got there at 9:am, our detail were taken down, but NO account opened, because "nobody was available". We were told somebody from call centre will call to open acc telephonically. After 4 days of waiting, no call, no account. Then somebody who barely spoke English called & made an app for 13/01/14 at 2pm. She even called to confirm appointment. We went to branch as discussed, only the "mobile consultant" did not come to branch as agreed but drove to my wife's place of work. This was AFTER confirming the appointment! So here we are, 3 appoints, 7 days later, no account, no appointment kept. If only all your staff were as diligent as your tele marketers who incessantly calls you whenever they want, things would probably go better for us. The way I see it, Standard Bank SA is not interested in my business, probably because I'm to poor to care about. You know what they say, owe a bank R1000, and they OWN you, owe them R100 000 000, and you OWN them. Thanks SBSA for moving my banking backwards, yet agai
