Policy number 6930000780633b5.Old Mutual needs to pay out a refund to me. However Old Mutual decided to increase their turn around time on payments from 3 days to 10 days over the holiday period. The only reason why a company will do that is lack of planning for admin staff that went on leave. Such a huge insurance company that cannot ensure that the needs of the customer is still satisfied even during the holiday season. Old Mutual now have a backlog on claims and refunds due to not enough staff being available to process all the requests. That is appalling. Extending a turn around time from 3 days to 10 days is absolutely disgusting. I will not purchase any product in future from this company and i'll advise other customers to choose a different insurance company as well. Old Mutual disappointed me this time.
