On Thurs 02/01/14 we as club members went to ORT Nedbank branch to give notice to do a cash withdrawal so as to give all members the cash they have invested throughout the year. Never was it communicated that cash can only be withdrawn by transferring into an acc holder of Nedbanks' and cheques are no longer issued as in the past. As one of the members holds a Nedbank acc, we did the transfer, only to be told after the transfer, for every R100 withdrawn, there will be a R1.25 charge. We requested to speak to the Branch Manager (as she would be the only person that could assist with the release of funds) and were told she is on leave and will only be back 14 Jan. We then asked if we can speak to the person in her place or someone senior, they then said, that person hasnt got the same authority and we had to wait for the 14th (no contigency plan). We then requested a reversal of funds into the investment acc, as withdrawal would affect members' monies. The reversal was done, NOW bank charges on the acc holder has been incurred. We have been to the branch 4 times now, NO ONE can assist us, we have to wait for the manager. I am appalled at the level of service and disappointed in Nedbank.
