My home suffered damage during a hail storm ie roof windows etc. My claim was registered on the 29/11/2013.the assessor((Digicall) came to inspect the damage on the 13/12/2013 and his report was submitted to absa insurance on the 22/12/2013.Despite numerous phone calls to Absa including the manageress of claims department (Elsebie) and leaving numerous messages due to a consultant been unavailable i have received no feedback. A lot of rain has fallen during this period and this has made living conditions very difficult as a result of 12 broken windows and holes in the roof. I have five small children living in the house and the broken windows pose numerous hazards not to mention the worry of water leaking onto floors and possible electrical problems. I also have pressed ceilings that are not repairable. Absa you are sadly lacking in the basics of communication and your apathetic attitude is of great disappointment. How quickly would you respond if i happened to renegade on a just one non-payment regarding my monthly bond payment?
