I have had the worst service on my first vehicle finance application, even as a Private Banking client!!! For a whole week, I have had to deal with the extreme frustration of teaching the entire team what acceptable customer service is. They have been passing the buck, inconsistencies, no follow up, unkept promises to review, give feedback!! They need additional documents but don't even pick up the phone to ask you to submit. Even when you do send them after checking yourself, no one even bothers to check them, until you phone them and ask them for progress!!! It just seems to me that FNB does not need my business and I have finally conceded that I must either finance the purchase myself or move my business to another bank. It is a hard pill to swallow when I have been bragging about my 'best bank' to everyone I hear banking horror stories from. Customer Service is dead to these guys. Someone there must still explain what the role of my online application was and the role of my 'Private Banker' is besides telling me what they cannot do!!! I am so disappointed but must now accept that my 11 year relationship with my bank is over. Thanks guys at Wesbank for messing up my view of FNB
