PPS delaying processing of claim

We are insured with PPS. My husband had a vehicle accident on the 14 November 2013 and the claim was submitted on the 18 November 2013 (PPS doesn't process claims on weekends). His car could not be repaired as it was not economically viable. Our claim was sent to a senior validator as PPS said it occurred in a residential area at night. After the validator submitted his report, his team decided to continue validating as they say the accident could have occurred elsewhere. However there is physical proof that the accident occurred where it did. The claims process is taking ages and PPS has not given us a date of when they will give us a decision. Our conclusion is that PPS is delaying the process, for whatever reason. This is ridiculous as we had to borrow money to purchase another vehicle. I would not recommend PPS to anyone as their service is substandard and their processes seem to be geared to stalling processing of claims.
