When I joined MiWay I was attracted by the claim of "Our claims process is efficient and hassle-free", Iam dissapointed that on my first claim I have exprienced quite the opposite. I submitted a claim after my vehicle was involved in an accident on 18th June 2013. Accident was in my driveway so the vehicle was in my possesion, it took more than 24 hours to get the vehicle towed way for an assessment - after numerous calls to MiWay. I was assigned a Claims Handler, who is helpful BUT only when I get hold of him. Half the time I have deal with the claims department call centre who dont have information on what is happening with my claim and thus very unhelpful, callback requests are never honoured. From when my vehicle was towed away on the 19th June 2013 to-date, I have absolutely no idea what is happening with my claim as a client I have questions like: what is the status of the claim? is anyone working on my claim at all? I have a curtesy vehicle which I took on the 21st June 2013, I have a 30 day loan timeframe for this curtesy vehicle, my question to Miway is since you are delaying on the admin side will they extend the curtesy vehile beyond the 30 days??!
