Added bursary amount into my loan account

In 2011 when I was doing my final year at University of Limpopo, we were told that if we pass modules for that year the funding is a bursary not a loan. I passed all the modules that I have registered for that year but it came to my surprise when I received a statement saying I owe my final year fees. I have been contacting NSFAS since 13 May 2012 regarding this issue. They told me that I should wait until end April 2013 as it is their financial year end. I contacted them again mid May 2013 and they said the issue had been sent to the Finance department and the Awards administration department for resolution. Actually every time I call them they always tell me that the matter has been escalated and they are busy working on it. It has been more than a year now. This is delaying me as I want to pay off my debt and I'm afraid that they will calculate the interest on fictitious amount.
