Discovery Insure

At the beginning of Nov I lodged a MVA claim with Discovery Insure. I took my car to East Rand Motor Lab for an assessment. On 14 Nov, S. Ndlovu advised that my claim has been approved. I got the panelbeaters report which only covers repairs to the bodywork. I emailed Sibusiso on 15 Nov to advise on a host of other problems not included in the report and he replied that the matter has been referred to management. I received a call from East Rand Motor Lab confirming that my vehicle has been booked in for 8 Jan 2014 for repairs. On 22 Nov I asked for a status update and was advised the matter was referred to Assessing department. Since then I've had my front driver's wheel checked by a tyre expert and they are concerned about the blatantly obvious negative camber on the front driver's wheel and it is seriously adversely affecting my tyre life. Yet another obvious indicator that the damage was not limited to cosmetic body damage and indicative of the damage done to the drive/steering train. I have already pointed out to the assessor that vehicle is leaking power steering fluid where it wasn't before who merely fobbed off my concern. I am still waiting for Discovery to contact me.
