I had an accident with my car early June. Discovery approved the claim the car could not be driven so it was picked up by the insurance approved panelbeater on 11.06.2013. A hire car was approved until tomorrow as the car repairs were supposed to take 18 working days which means I would have got my car today. The email from from discovery to the panelbeaters East Rand Motorlab stated they must keep them advised of any delays or parts awaited. I received no feedback that there were any delays and last night sent an email to follow up collection today only to be advised they are waiting for a door and the car will only be ready 23.07.2013 which is almost another month. I have been battling to get discovery to come back to me with a solution and either extend the hire or arrange a car from the panel beater. All they are willing to do is point out that my policy says 30 day hire and I am on a waiting list with the panelbeater for a loan car. This is not service when you pay so much every month. I am very disappointed with Discovery Insure and East Rand Motorlab. They obviously dont care about letting their clients know whats going on
