Different "prestige" banker, same problem :(

Once again here I am complaining about my service at Standard Bank. I received so many promises from the customer services, & stuck with the bank. However all I required now, was a simple change, from a secondary to primary account, due to my limitations on the account. (which we were not initially briefed on when upgrading the account). Does this process really take over 72 hours to resolve?
My husband has moved to ABSA & receives A-class service, I feel like a fool for being so loyal to a bank who obviously couldn't care less about me.
Went to the branch on Wednesday morning 9am, i was told all would be done. I received no response from the banker, so I constantly followed up with her, obviously that is not how it should work, she should be updating me, not me running after her. Then I decided to take of from work and once again go to the branch this morning, go in at 10:30, there were still no answers, so I asked to speak to the branch manager who was not in at that time of the morning. Phumzile promised me that I would receive feedback as soon as her manager is in, probably in the next 20mins, however I mailed her over an hr later, mail read, & no response 2hrs later! HELP ME!
