Due to the fact that our business account is with Standard Bank, I was offered Prestige Banking. As I am looking to change my bank anyway, I was quite interested and I finally decided over the weekend to change to Standard Bank. I called the Broad Acres Branch on Monday morning, informed the lady that I would like to move my account to Standard Bank and asked for assistance. She was very helpful and although she was not able to assist me herself, a private banker was going to phone me back. Unfortunately, to this moment no one has responded.

I know about people who are very satisfied with Standard Bank's service, but also about a lot of people who are quite dissatisfied. Am I only unlucky to not get any response?

I also applied for a home loan on Tuesday and only upon my enquiry, realised that my application was deleted without even informing me.

Standard Bank had a golden opportunity to recruit me as a new customer, but it seem that you are not interested... or are you?
