Funeral Policy still not paid out after 2 weeks!!

My mom passed away on the 5th Nov 2013. She had a funeral policy with Old mutual. My sister and I submitted the claim and all docs required on the 11th Nov at the Queenstown branch and we were told it would be paid out in 48 hours. Claim has not been paid out to this day. If we were relying solely on this policy then my mom would still not be buried. No one calls to tells us what's the problem. We have to call them or go to the Queenstown branch daily to get feedback. The latest excuse was something about their systems. This is still after WE enquired. This is not acceptable at all. Can someone contact me to give us an explanation?
