Insurance addition to Monthly installment

My vehicle is financed with Absa vehicle finance. I received a letter via post (after I have specified numerous times that all correspondence must be made via e-mail) in October that if I do not supply prove of vehicle insurance within the next two weeks, an amount of R895.09 will be subtracted for vehicle insurance. I only received one letter, no e-mail correspondence, no one phoned me, nothing. I sent the information required through to Absa 17 Oct, on the 1st of November the installment was paid (as usual) but with the addition of R895.09, after I have sent the required information to Absa. The installment for 1 Dec is also with the addition of R895.09, which is incorrect as the car is insured.
Please help? and I would like to know whether it is possible for a bank to take out insurance for you?
