Insurance for what?

The bank sent me a leter to prove that i do have comprehensive insurance on my vehicle. Im insured since the day i purchused my vehicle with the bank and ive emailed them the letter from my insurance stating that i do have cover. After sending this letter ABSA went and debited my account with their insurance and a debitted my vehicle finance twice in one month. After phoning them i get directed from one department to another and no one can assist me. When directing a complaint at ABSA action line i get the same treatment. I went to my nearest ABSA branch and reversed the debit order myself. Now the last week i get rude phone calls regarding the outstanding insurace amount they debited to my vehicle finance.

According to law a person is not allowed to have a asset insured by more than one insurer?
Im not paying for any aditional insurance.
