I have a policy with Hondasure, a division of Hollard, and claims processed by SMART. I was in a motorbike accident about 3 months ago. My claim was rejected and I submitted an complaint to the Ombudsman which then approved my claim. My bike was transported to Honda Cape Town after the accident by the insurance Hondasure, and then when my claim was rejected it was moved to my residence. Now that the claim has to be processed and Hondasure/ Holllard or SMART is not willing to transport the bike back to Honda Cape Town so that it can be repaired. Can you please look into this matter, I have been inconvenienced for 3 months already and now they not willing to move the bike back to were they took it in the 1st place?
They last email I received from Belinda at SMART was as follows "Management noted that it's best to take the matter up with the Ombudsman." Looks like I will have to go back to the Ombudsman again?
