I reported damage to my vehicle on 12 November 2012 to the smart insurance call center. Since then, I have had an uphill battle with smart insurance and hollard to try to get the claim paid and settled. Smart insurance, a branch of hollard, has used every excuse imaginable to avoid paying the claim. There has been very little follow-up from smart insurance in communicating issues. They have ignored communication from me, failed to respond to my emails, and just been unreasonable and arrogant in the manner they have communicated with me. I also believe that the call center staff intentionally misled me. I am disgusted at how poor the service has been. I deeply regret having a policy with smart insurance. My experience of this company is that they have no regard for their clients. To date, 5 months later, the matter is still not resolved.
