I have insured my phone with 24 Hour Mobility from the 14th October 2013. I bought a Samsung S3 at MTN. My phone screen broke two weeks after that and sent through my claim immediately, I received a call on the 16 Nov. 2013 @ 08:40 was speaking to the Consultant, she told me I must pay a minimum of R540 for transport pick-up and delivery as my claim happened prior to 60 days being with the Insurance and pay R158.00 as my first premium was not yet deducted.

I find this ridiculous as any Insurance covers you from date of acceptance of the Insurance, Anything that should happen post commencement date of Insurance I should be covered not pay minimum fee before my claim happens.

Lastly, Why must I pay for Transport fee as this is a function of the Insurance and what difference does it make if I pay before 60 days claim and thereafter I do not pay.. I was so Angry told the Consultant to just cancel the Insurance as its just useless for me.. In addition, I requested call reference, I was told 24 Hour Mobility does not provide call references.. How ridiculous is this??? How am I supposed to trace call and follow-up?

I still feel I was not treated fairly and well.
