It has now been more than a year that we have been trying to get a surplus claim paid out. Everytime you phone, it takes close to 20 minutes for anyone to answer the phone and then there is a new excuse why the claim is still pending. It takes a month to scan 1 page into their "system" and it is no use trying to get to speak to a senior employee, they dont exist OR dont take calls!!! These people will not last two days in private employment as they know nothing about customer srvice. I have handled pensions funds and surplus payments in the past and it never took so long!!! ATTITUDE!!
