It is with sadness that I saw Standard Bank Private Suite try and sort out the mess they created. Being part of the private clients' suite created the impression that my banking affairs will be handled by a competent person. This is a wrong assumption.
When I requested my credit card billing date to be changed the way my card is managed was changed as well. In October the issue was 'resolved' and in November the same problem is back. Despite spending more than an hour to resolve the feedback, I still 'the bank will explain to me where the customer went wrong'. Shame.
I have requested on numerous occasions that a manager contact me but escalation is not a process these people understand. I have tried to make contact with any kind of competent manager in the bank without success.
It is sad when a customer in the private bank suite has to struggle with menial tasks for hours and still not get joy.
